Mini – Fellowship Program At UCLA
 The Office of Continuing Medical Education, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Office of Continuing Medical Education, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA designates this educational activity for a maximum of 22.75 for the Generalist and Hospitalist tracks, 23.25 for the Palliative Care track and 23.75 for the Skilled Nursing Facility track category 1 credits toward the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.
Each Physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
Disclosure
The FDA has issued a concept paper which classifies commercial support of scientific and education programs as promotional unless it can be affirmed that the program is "truly independent" and free of commercial influence. In addition to independence, the FDA requires that non-promotional, commercially supported education be objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous. The policy further states that all potential conflicts of interest of the CME staff and faculty be fully disclosed to the program's participants. We at UCLA fully endorse the letter and spirit of this concept.
In compliance with this policy, the program audience will have disclosed to them any potential conflict(s) of interest related to the contents of presentations made by all faculty participating in sponsored or jointly sponsored programs by the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Eligibility and Criteria
Applicants will be chosen based on the following criteria:
Participation: To be considered for the Donald W. Reynolds FD~AGE Mini-Fellowship Program at UCLA, please fill out and submit an application form. The application should be faxed to the attention of Anne Hu at (310) 312-0546.
Enrollment and registration fees: Applicants who are selected to attend the Donald W. Reynolds FD~AGE Mini-Fellowship Program at UCLA will participate at no cost. Expenses for on-site transportation and meals will also be covered.
